The book launch celebration will take place at Mindspace DC, located at 1301 K. St. NW, Washington DC, 20005 beginning at 2pm. I would suggest getting there on time to enjoy all festivities.
Bring your ID with you for check in.
We will operate as safely as possible an in accordance with all COVID-19 protocol.
Weekend Agenda
While the book launch is on Saturday, September 10th, we expect several people to travel in, so we want to share some other activities occurring throughout the weekend:
Saturday - 2pm - Book Launch Celebration - 1301 K. St. NW. 3rd Floor, Washington DC, 20005
Saturday - 7pm - After Book Meet Up - Surprise Location
Sunday - No formal activities planned - Enjoy the DMV area!
Flight Considerations
Flights are mostly moderately priced from the majority of the locations that you may be flying in from. I do recommend securing your flight as soon as possible, to take advantage of this.
The most convenient airports to fly into in recommended order are:
DCA - very close proximity to book activities
BWI - an estimated 45 minute drive from book activities
Ground Transportation
You can conveniently get around DC through shared transportation or even the DC Metro.
Hotel Recommendations
While staying anywhere in downtown DC will be in a reasonable proximity to book activities, there are a few recommended options that I am presenting:
Underground Building Parking - There is parking conveniently located underneath the building. You enter the parking to the right of the building. Parking is $10.00. Once you exit your vehicle, proceed to the elevator bank area. Press the intercom button and security will let you in. Once in the elevator, proceed to the main floor and approach the security desk with your ID.
