THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER

Who Taught You How to Do That?

Think about using chopsticks for the first time, finding your glass at a business dinner or introducing yourself to a room full of new people. Usually nobody showed us. We figured it out along the way.

Our children will walk into classrooms, first jobs and celebrations where we won’t always be beside them. As adults we keep walking into new rooms too, from a golf outing with a client to a first date after twenty years.

They never announce themselves, yet they are the moments people remember about you.

“Intention tells us who we want to be.
Behavior shows people who we are becoming.”

HOW IT WORKS

Build the Traditions Your Family Will Carry Forward

Scarlet House is a digital family membership helping children, teens and adults build the etiquette, confidence and practical life skills they need for everyday moments and life’s important ones.

01   Learn in your own pathway. Dedicated lessons for each age, from 7 through adulthood.

02   Watch in the gaps of the week. Short videos for the car ride or the minutes before dinner.

03   Practise it together. Family challenges turn each lesson into a habit that lasts.

FIVE PATHWAYS

A Pathway for Every Age

Each month the whole House explores one theme, and every age group meets it differently — so your 7-year-old and your 17-year-old are learning the same lesson in completely different ways.

BACK TO THE TABLE

Fill Your Table With Conversation Again

Each person learns in their own room at their own age. Then the family comes back together to share what they learned and how they’re using it.

Traditions like Sunday dinner are fading in a lot of families, and technology has made gathering harder. Scarlet House gives your family a new conversation to bring to the table every month.

Family is what you define it to be.

Some of us grew up with grandparents, godparents or cousins who feel like siblings. One membership covers up to five people, and you decide who they are.

WHAT’S INSIDE

One Membership for the Full Family

Whether you’re helping your child prepare for their first dinner party, supporting your teen through new social situations or building your own confidence for a business dinner, there’s always something new to explore.

FOUNDER AND CHIEF LEARNING OFFICER

Meet Jacqueline M. Baker

I’m Jacqueline M. Baker, Founder and Chief Learning Officer of Scarlet. Fifteen years ago I started teaching etiquette to teen girls in Detroit, because I wanted young people to feel confident in any room they walked into.

Before long, organizations I never expected started calling, from Deloitte and Nike to the Detroit Lions and the Department of Defense. They wanted their people to feel confident in the moments that matter.

Every time I taught young people, an adult in the back of the room would lean in and say they wanted to learn it too. Scarlet House is my answer to them, a family membership where every age keeps learning.

I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to Scarlet House.

Evette Booker
